Cables 101 for a beginner The key here is to start with clean power. first install dedicated 20 amp Ac lines with seperate copper ground rods. then install good quality sockets such as the FIM. next add a high quality power strip and good power cords. lastly install good i...
Is a Tube Amp Capable of High Current? We represent the Wyetech Labs SET Tube amps and found them to drive very difficult speaker loads better than much higher powered tube amps. the Topaz stereo amp which is rated at 25 watts can out drive my 175 watt Airtight monos. a very well desig...
Audio Physic Virgos...... What price range are you willing to go? also do you prefer Tube or SS?
4 Ohm vs. 8 Ohm, what does it mean..... also keep in mind that Tube amplifiers like higher impedences such as 8 ohms or higher, were as Solid State amps can drive more power into lower impedences such as 4 ohms. although even some of the best Solid State amps can still have trouble driv...

I have found the Wyetech Jade, $3800 and Opal, $7500 to be clearly the best there is for 2 channel active preamps. if you search hard enough one can find other top notch preamps as w...
AA Capitole Mk II - what the evaluaions brought? I am a Dealer for Audio Aero. I have had my Capitole MK2 player for a few weeks now and running in repeat 24/7. so far I have tried running it direct with Airtight ATM-2 mono amps, and Wyetech Onyx mono amps driving Ensemble speakers. since I have...
Can POWER CORDS really make that big a difference? Good sound starts at the wall outlet. first have dedicated ac lines installed with 12 ga. wire. then replace your wall sockets with an audiophile grade such as the Fim. next use a hi-quality passive power strip followed by great power cords and yo... |
