Black-Eyed-Peas, the future of modern music?

I saw the Black Eyed Peas in PA last night and all I can say is WOW. The whole production was over the top with a futuristic Science Fiction vibe. The music was like no other with so many influences its hard to classify as any one style.
The bottom end literally moved my hair and clothes.
The audience was a wide variety of fans. Many parents brought their children, 10,11 years old. The crowd was white, black, Asian, young, old (me) and happy.
I recommend you go see this show when the opportunity presents itself. It is history in the making.

These guys have been around for quite awhile now and are quite cohesive (very few lineup changes), so it really surprises me when some people react to them as "new crap". Some of their music is quite good, and I would say they are not only the future but have achieved enough to be considered a solid part of the past and the now.
Check out the Fergie song on Slash's new album. This should silence the haters on this thread.
She can sing. I've seen the band just jamming out they've got talent. Not everyone's cup of tea though. But who is?
I enjoyed the show so much I will be seeing it again on the Broadwalk in Atlantic City this summer.
My comment about the future of music was based on this live performance.
I do have THE E.N.D. on vinyl and for such a digital mix it sounds incredible.
I urge you to see the show or at least pick up the latest release.
The future of modern music? what a SAD awful depressing state of new music we would have to be in! thankfully, this is far from the truth and there are many great bands, now and on the horrizon.
