Good Quality Distilled Water???

If store variety distilled water is not considered good enough and full of impurities, where does one get distilled water for cleaning records that is acceptable?

I work in a lab and get my ultra-pure 18Meg-ohm water from "Wade's" still. I then mix up my own secret cleaning formula and vacuum filter it through a 0.45micron filter. It's then fed to my VPI-17 and it slurps it up. -JT
I've tried all of the commercial cleaners, even tried the reviewers (Scull, Fremer, Lumley) homebrews. Nothing compares to RRL. No film, no rinse, no sonic signature. Nothing else will touch my records.

Thanks Albert for turning me onto RRL.
I do not post often but my experience is like a lot of other people here. David, aka 4yanx, got me interested in Record Research Labs stuff by his posts and then he graciously sent me some to try. They are better than anything else I tried and worth cost differnce when compared to other fluids.
Alright, I'm going to buy some RRL stuff and give it a try.

I'll let you know what happens.

I'm especially interested to see if it as tasty as the VPI fluid :>)
I am gratified that Michael (motdathird) and others have found the RRL samples useful and have used them succesfully. I am happy to continue the tradition established by Albert and maybe someone will pick up the torch later.

Herman, check your e-mail, you need to try them without buying first and give us your unbiased opinion - yea or nay! :-)
