Viva la Vinyl!!

Hey fellow vinylphiles! How about some feedback on any new vinyl discoveries, particularly on the fairly regular stream of reissues. Any real gems? Any dogs to avoid? None of us want to drop 25-30 bucks on a 180 gram slab 'o' vinyl only to discover something better heard on CD (OK you CD diehards, no offense - I listen to the silver discs too, just not NEARLY as often) Anyway, let's hear it for the continuing vinyl renaissance!

...i like MA recordings. Check Vlatko Stefanovski, Dusan Tadic "Krusevo"(it was r2d4 in stereophile) also i like "Audioquest" and Robert Lucas. You wont be dissapointed.
Dacostab, the LP you are referring to is the soundtrack to "Casino Royale". It is on Classic reissue and it is a true sonic gem. The song "The Look of Love" is sung by Dusty Springfield, and it will send chills up your spine, it is that good. Herb Alpert and the Tijauna Brass also perform on it. Order it and treet yourself to a GREAT LP.
Slowhand: This is a NEW recording of "The Look Of Love", different from the famous "Casino Royale " soundtrack by Dusty Springfield.
