The best $10,000 Turntable+Cartridge

somebody has to help me to buy the best turntable + cartridge. i have $10,000 to do this, my system consist: quad 2805 , david berning zh-270 , the turntable choice phono stage, i am a 99% classical music and 1% jazz, thanks for looking.

Take your time and shop around...

I am not sure how much you can believe that is printed on the web, but you may want to audition a TW-Acoustic Raven One... There seems to be mucho favorable press about this table all over the web. Check the Audio Tones website for a good review as well as StereoMojo...

Why not go for a secondhand TT and arm and a new cartridge? That way you get more buck for the dollar. The reason I'd go for a new cartridge is that you can be assured the needle is ok.
Generally speaking, a TT is a relatively simple piece of engineering that won't suffer to much wear 'n' tear. Depending on the previous owner offcourse.

As for 'the best': that is a hopeless quest, every person has his or her own taste. I love my TT, but others wouldn't spend their money on it. So trust your own ears. And make sure the TT/arm/cartridged are well adjusted...
