My first choice  for second system Omega. Speakers, Kliphs 600 rpm, Tekton monitor impact.

No they don't and I would never run my signal through a sub crossover. Anyway that's usually a feature on cheap mass market subs. If I did anything in that direction it would be a proper outboard crossover of good quality. 

Yes, I understand the concept of removing bass from the main speakers very well. 

OP:  what are your current speakers, and how is your Cary integrated doing with them?
