Magneplanar Listening Comparison 1.7 vs. 3.7 Speakers

Having owned both 1.7 i and now 3.7i I completely agree with don_c55. my room is 12 x 15 and the 3.7i speakers sound fab. Definitely more weight and sound pressure too.

The i versions sound a lot better than the non i versions. When I had my 3.7's, I'm pretty sure that I preferred my 1.7i's to them.

So much gear so little time on this planet to enjoy! Very subjective Hobby, easily to get caught up in the listening Drama, Bigger and more expensive doesn't always translate what I might be hearing, especially as we get older so does our hearing. I've loved inexpensive gear just as much through the years, depending on the integration and let's not forget the sleepers (less well known, less advertising).
