Dunlavy SC IV-A grills

I recently purchased a pair of Iv-A ‘s my question is does anyone know if the grills go on with the felt towards the inside of cabinets or outside? It’s only on one side where the mids and tweeters are.

You can experiment by listening either way. I prefer listening without the grilles attached.
