Lexicon RT-10

A while back I purchased one of these units to use as a CD/SACD player. It did not come with a remote, and the previous owner used it as a dvd player. From my understanding the only way to switch the outputs from the HDMI to RCA is from the remote using an on-screen menu on my tv. I've searched the interwebs for a Lexicon remote for months, and have contacted a few of the experts on this brand in the US to no avail.

Does anyone out there in Agon land have a Lexicon remote that I could rent for a few days to get this set up to play my cd collection? I would be happy to pay for shipping both ways and a rental charge. Once I have the outputs set up I no longer need the remote, just need a one-time use.

Thanks in advance.

I heard those were an OPPO transport.    I wonder if any of there codes would work  unfortunately Lexicon subbed out all of their home audio gear.   I think Bryston made their amps ….  Brent Jessee Recording sells remotes for older gear , I would give him a shout

Get a harmony 650 universal remote on ebay...should be around 40$ and should get you where you need to go

I will keep my eye peeled for a Remote for this player.  Nice score! On the RT 10.

Happy Listening!

Putting the RT-10's 480p output through the battery of test patterns on the Video Essentials and Avia test DVDs showed that it could cut the mustard. On the Avia disc's pixel-cropping test, only four pixels were cut off at the bottom of the image; the three other sides extended out to 0. Y/C delay looked perfect. The RT-10 did a fine job on the moving zone-plate tests, with no sparkles at either high or low bit rates. On tests of its video frequency range, the RT-10 was sharp to the upper limits of the test patterns, and acquitted itself admirably on Video Essentials' montage of images. I saw only the slightest amount of sparkling during the stadium pan, and overall motion artifacts were minimal. One Cognizant Login
