Freya + ( Plus ) Capacity Mods

Hey there folks,

Looks like there could be a cottage industry for Freya + mods. I recently read about some of them and am at least interested in the capacitor upgrade. Here's the article if you want to read about it.

Now comes the question: Who can do these mods safely and if they can be done  safely, can we establish the AMG equivalent of a Freya +?

To be honest just buy good 6sn7 tube the Freya + will perform.

Tried to register on that site to ask a question. But could not do it.

 In any event does anyone know if you could  use the  tubes he is using without any of the mods?

Honestly if the only mod you do is swap in the Vcap ODAMS, you will have significantly upgraded the unit. They really are outstanding. I have modded them into my preamp and my speaker crossovers... However it sounds like a bit challenging to remove the case...much more than removing a few screws...

I read the same perspective at the link previously provided. I am not qualified to weigh in on the topic. What I'm hoping to learn is if there are qualified folks who would do this work and if so, who are they?
