They for some reason never penetrated the US market. Michael Bladelius was hired by Nelson Pass when he was running Threshold. One of Michaels designs was the Forte 4A 50 wpc Class A amp.I owned one, a big regret that I sold it. He also worked with the guys that run CODA audio. I purchased a pair of Threshold T-50's from a former employee at Threshold. He had Michael modify both amps into Class A mono blocks. Still have them. His name are written on the back of both amps. It would be nice to see him getting a US distributor.
(((One of Michael's designs was the Forte 4A 50 wpc Class A amp.I owned one, a big regret that I sold it.)))I also heard that amp years ago driving a pair of little Vandersteen 1 Cs playing Bach Toccata in Fugue with amazing tonal quality and overtones. Best JohnnyR
Very Interesting, particularly  getting Michael to modify those amps into Class A mono blocks. I think that the Ymer itself is pure class A for the first 45w.
He also after leaving Threshold/Forte designed for Classe and Primare audio. These Thresholds are one of a kind. The balanced circuits were taken out and each amp has 20 bipolar transistors in parallel. They run hot and do suck up a lot of electricity. The clarity is incredible. Almost like taking a veil over the sound.
Only just come across the Ymer power amp another one for me to consider.
Will be researching it further to compare with the 402 Evo amp which is on my list
