Am I out of my mind? #obsessed

I have a pair of B&W 805d3 stand mount speakers. I dust them weekly with a microfiber cloth. From a few feet away they still look brand new but on closer examination they aren’t perfect. Tiny micro scratches and smudges. I had the thought of trying a polishing product or car wax to make them perfect again. Good idea or am I just #obsessed?

Gloss piano black is the hardest to take care of because everything is visible. Its like having a black car.
I'd try that stuff for scratches that you use for auto's. It works on them somewhat and I'm sure it would help.
@norton @atmasphere yeah I have a black car too 😐. I’ll try some on a small area on the back to test it. Just thought I’d see if anyone has tried any specific products that have worked well on gloss black finishes.
yes, out of your mind.

just wiping dust on piano black lacquer can make miniature marks.

polish them 1 time per year, then stop looking so closely.

tell yourself the dust was factored into the performance specs, IOW, not to be removed!
