In need of advice on speaker choice

I have a Yamaha M2 amp with a C85 preamp and am looking for advice on pairing speakers with it. I see a pair of Keff r900's for sale at $2,500 but have not listened to them yet. I have another system with JBL L-65 speakers which I love.
There are so many options out there and I don't know enough to make a good decision. I am looking for used but do not want to spend more than $2,500 for a pair. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

There is a like new pair of JBL L100 classic with stands listed here for $2950.00. You should make an offer of your budget of $2500. Give it a shot you have nothing to lose!!

   If you don't mind used, L-100 can be had for less than $1000 on ebay and craigslist. 4430 sounds even better for around $2500 second hand.

   You might have to redo the x-over on very old ones though.

The house sound of KEF and JBL should be very different so visit dealers or check out reviews/owner feedback on these speakers as this should help.

Agree with above posters to stick with JBL.
