Do I have enough electronics for Contour s1.4?

For the last 8 years I have been driving a set of Dynaudio Audience 52se with a Musical Fidelity A3.2 integrated A3.2 CD and an Apple digital network feeding an MSB Link DAC III. It is wired up with Kimber Kable products (Hero /4vs).
I've been quite pleased with this setup but have the upgrade itch. I'm considering picking up a set of Dynaudio Contour s1.4s to replace the 52se. Will there be an improvement? Do I have enough front end to make the s1.4 perform? The A3.2 is rated at 185w @ 4ohms.

Thanks!

if s1.4 is next step, you should take another step ahead and save yourself some time and money upgrading meaning you should go for c1 instead.
I pulled the trigger on the S1.4's. They are awesome.
Thanks all for your input.

C1's are out of budget for now.
Well here we are almost 5 years later and the upgrade bug has hit me again. The s1.4 have been great and triggered several other upgrades. I am now running the Musical Fidelity A3.2CR separates (Pre/Amp) and a modified MSB Gold DAC. Considering the Dynaudio C1 or C2 Platinums. Or maybe the new Contour 20 now that they have the Esotar2 tweeter.

Although I have not heard them the new Dynaudio Evoke has got great reviews for the money from Axpona. I owned the C1's and later the C1 signature. Great monitor. I had an in home demo of the original C2 but did not care for the vertical sound stage. But that is my opinion. Contour 20's will have more punch than the C1's.

That said you do know that version of the Confidence has been discontinued along with the Evidence so pre owned pricing should come down.

Thanks for your comments. I found a good deal on a set of demo Confidence C1 Platinum's and am loving them. I listened to some C2's, the new Contour C60's and C20's and really found I preferred the C1 sound and size/form factor.
