For Blues Fans

My brother recently sent me a link to a PBS broadcast called Two Trains Runnin'. It is about two separate groups of white college kids who go in search of Skip James and Son House in the Mississippi delta at the peak of the civil rights movement. It lasts about one hour and features music from some great contemporary performers like Gary Clark, Jr. as well as old blues stuff. It is very well done. I enjoyed it even more since I just got back from a trip to the very spots they visited in the delta.

You can find it on the PBS web site and it is free.
