Calling All NHT fans, old and new..

I recently caught the audio bug after a few decades of hibernation, and picked up a couple of pairs of Loudspeakers ( actually more than a couple, but that's for another time). One of the pair is the newer 2.1 NHT SuperOnes. Been auditioning them for close to three weeks now in my living room.

Originally, I thought they sounded good, with a midrange that was a tad recessed for my taste. I thought clarity and detail was very good, and the bass limitations for a speaker this size are not a deal-breaker for me ( I'm a 2.0 guy, music). Either I adapted or the midrange opened up a bit but I noticed the in- the- back quality less, it sounds better to me.

My quandary: I saw a super deal on a used pair of SB2s. Virtually same size, they spec a little lower and higher frequency range on paper. Been A/ B all night, and I'm having a heck of a time deciding what I like better. So far, the 2.1 have a little better air or space around percussion.. Ramsey Lewis 'Sky Islands', but the the SB2 seems very close, with possible a little more midrange presence I tend to find realistic. I don't find the SB aluminum Tweeter harsh at all, the silk 2.1...it varies, very good on some material, a touch smeared to my ears on other material. I know crossovers are probably different, interesting they both have 86 sensitivity rating but the S1 sounds a tad louder..?..

So... Anyone happen to own but new SuperOnes AND SB2? YOUR thoughts and impressions are greatly appreciated.

I would upgrade to SB3's or Classic 3's.  I still have my 3.3's, 1.5's and Classic 3's.  I've owned SB3, Classic 2's, 2.5i's, and 2.9's.  My 2 cents. No opinion on SuperOnes.
SB2s were a pretty good speaker.  SB3s were better, as in more of the good that the SB2s offered.

Classic 3s superior to Classic 2s in all ways.
