Vinyl cleaning thoughts on FCC2

I stumbled across this stuff at work and thought it may make a good vinyl cleaner if it doesn’t destroy the vinyl. It’s made by AFL, FCC2 Enhanced Formula. It is a optical fiber cleaner and preparation fluid. Nonflammable, safe on all surfaces, military approved. The product information states “nonflammable, plastic-safe, optical grade cleaning solvent engineered for cleaning fiber optic connectors. Fast drying, this non hazardous cleaner dissolves static charges, cleans dusts, fingerprints, salts, oils, grime and moisture on fiber optics. Safe on glass, ceramic, metal, plastic, cured epoxies and plastic optical fiber.” Contains Propan-2-ol, Methyl Nonaflouroisobutyl Ether.
I tried it on an old trash album and it didn’t melt it.

So it works and it works well. It does not leave any residue. On their website it states that but I wanted to see and hear for myself. If anything it works too well. On a few albums after placing it on a cloth or brush and going over the album without going back over the album with a brush, the stylus picked up the loosened dirt on the album.  It seems to me it would be good to use with an ultrasonic cleaner.
