Clearaudio Concept AC/DC power supply "JUNK"?

I've noticed that the power supply unit that comes with the Concept TT appears
to be junk. You would think at these prices, Clearaudio would include a higher
quality power supply. Has anyone opted for an after market product? If so,
could you please educate me.

The wall wart is to keep it affordable but you can do better.
You can use a 6Ah 12V lead acid battery (may need to add an in line fuse) or you can buy a good regulated 12V DC power supply. There is one designed for the CC.

Yep, I use 6 D cell batteries to power it, you can buy the device for cheap on eBay
