Personal speaker evolution

OK, so here is a thread I haven't ever seen here: What speakers have you owned? starting with the earliest, price paid, new/used, and perhaps the models that really impressed you (for the price) in CAPS.

Rat Shack Something or others, $120, new
Fisher Something or others, $280, new
ADS L710's, $550, new
Snell A2i's, $1100, used
BEVERIDGE SYSTEM 3'S, $1000, used
Martin Logan CLS, $1400, used
MARTIN LOGAN SL3'S, $2300, used
pmwoodward
Klipsch Forte
Totem Mani-2
Martin Logan CLS2 with Kinergetics sw800
Sonus Faber Extrema
Martin Logan SL3
Martin Logan CLS

maybe the Merlin VSM next (it's been nearly an year)
I've only had two pairs of commercial speakers:
One was my first pair which was some unknown store brand 3-way system.
The other was a set of Linn Kans.
All my others were my own DIY handbuilts.
Magnepan MG-IIc, Magnepan MG-IIIa, Celestion SL-600, Apogee Duetta Sig., Soundlab A-3, Quad ESL-57, Quad ESL-63, Spendor LS3/5a, Spendor, SP1/2, B&W CDM9NT, Spendor S3/5. As of 4/7/02 the main system has Spendor SP100 and the 2nd system Spendor FL-8.
