Maybe all the recent Tekton Lore buyers are too busy enjoying the music from their speakers to participate in the forum now.

I'm curious about their OB speaker designs. I keep missing out on the classified listings for them. Seems like as soon as they are listed members jump on them.

Also I think members here are keeping Tekton real busy. I sent them an e-mail some time ago inquiring about some older Tekton models and still haven't heard back.

The Tekton site has a pretty nice video on the front page now of a Lore speaker cabinet being made. Kind of reminds me of the Zu Audio video some time ago. Nice cinematic quality.
GPowered and Genjamon Thanks so much for your reviews and thoughts.

I'd really like to read your findings about the Lores as well. My gear is very similar to yours. I always wonder if speakers like the Lores require expensive high-end SS and Tube gear to get the best sound out of them.
CWazz: What was the 100 watt SS amp that you were trying to use with the Tekton Lores? I'm just curious becuase I have a re-built Hafler DH-220 that I was thinking of using with Tekton speakers. I tried using the DH-220 with an Audio Nirvana 12" FR but in a JE Labs open baffle set-up. I didn't have bass issues but I had imaging issues. Everything seemed low but I don't know if it was due to my preamp at the time or the nature of the OB set-up.

311mph: Glad to hear you got the Lores. Can't wait for the follow-up review after you break them in. I'm interested in your thoughts as the audio equipment I plan to use with Tekton speakers isn't the most expensive.

Sebrof: From a previous post I saw that 311mph was going to use a Outlaw Audio 1070 receiver to power them at first.
I'm kind of agreeing with CWazz. I guess the Lores aren't all they are cracked up to be. Seems like the buyers that got the Lores hype them up and then unload them. The hype they created with their posts allows them to sell the Lores at or close to what they paid. Some at a small loss. If the Lores were so good as mentioned in their posts why upgrade? To me it seems like the buyers of the Lores initially were really excited like when anyone buys something new, raves about them, and then when that newness wears off they buy something else. The speaker just isn't good enough to hold onto it seems. I almost bought into the hype machine. I'm relieved that I didn't.
