Zavfino

Many nice gents in this site, highly reputable common folks audiophiles like @lalitk @wig and others have mentioned these, so it’s probably time to create a specific thread on Zavfino, a direct sales cables company based in Canada with presence ‘ distributors in US, also direct:

I took the advice of these folks with a power cord, the Prima MK2

I could not be happier with this cord, something that would easily cost $2,000 or even $3,000 from other better known cable makers. It’s outstanding, for about $500. Absolutely amazing build, and packaging too. It sounds great, very quiet. I am sure the cheaper PC, the Majestic at $390 is very good too:
I now have the Prima speaker cables on my way. Call me “sold”.

No BS, truly top quality cables company that flies under the radar. Very affordable too. Take a look. No relation to the company, just a happy first time customer, thanks to my Audiogon friends here

The downside of silver dart power cable is the stiffness. Otherwise the sound is resolving with some tint of warmth IMO.
Need to let go one of my 2 silver dart bcz of the stiffness (can’t use on one of my equipment).

After 2 weeks of burning in, finally can give silver dart power cable a good listen.

initially i found it being a bit bright with sibilance.

After running in, I found silver dart improves the mid and vocal with presence and texture. Usually I hear reduced resolution in other cables which deliver this quality but silver dart still remains nice resolution and extended high. I don’t find it sounds cold.

the bass in my system becomes more punchy.

in general, I feel it is a very balanced cables with natural soundings.

I am considering full loom in the future.
just spoke with on Raymond, there will be price hike in 2022.

I am using on my preamp. My 1.5 meter is not long enough to reach power amp. Plan to get a 2.5m for power amp.

For those who planning to get silver dart speaker cable for biwire-able spk, according to Raymond, Zavfino can make silver dart biwire jumpers but they will be 13AWG.

I am waiting for more update regarding the connector.

I loaned a Golden rush phono cable from my dealer. Pretty impressed with the cable. Similar to silver dart cable, IMO it has balanced sound with better separation than my previous phono cable. Overall full bodied sound without being warm or rolled off, and retains good resolution

Just sharing my experience. Speaking of Hijiri cable, conincidently I just loaned the million IC yesterday from my local dealer.

I am connecting both silver dart XLR and Hijiri RCA from my TAD CD player/DAC to preamp, so able to switch the preamp input and compare albeit is between XLR vs RCA.

Initial listening is that Hijiri is more fluid sounding with more rounded and seductive mid, silver dart soundstage depth sounds slightly better. But I am not sure how much the connectors impacting what I am listening.

Just ordered a pair of fusion XLR.
Using Valhalla 2 and Wireworld P7 now. Curious how does the fusion sound compared to these much more expensive cables.
Hi @thyname, please share your impression on the silver dart power cable.
considering to get one too.
not yet. Raymond told me that the stock is only available by next week in view of Canada thanksgiving day.
I see. There will be additional 1 week waiting time for me as I need to ship from US to Singapore. 🤣
The fusion XLR still on the way. Can’t wait to try it.
Wondering what is the difference bet Prima and silver dart, I am considering that  too.

@thyname Could you provide your experience with silver dart vs prima? I finally got the fusion XLR and 1st impression is very very promising, both finishing and sound quality.

That makes me wondering what are the additional impacts silver dart can provide?
