Hi there, is there any update in this topic? Any new Ypsilon owners?I have purchased Phaethon few weeks ago and I am still happy, although I always used only tube amplifiers and have owned 20-30 different models - Phaethon doesnt want me move to tubes again.It doesnt sound exactly the same like a Kondo SET for example, but it's very close while doesnt have power limitations and distortion is significantly lower.
Ypsilon Phaeton + Marten Coltrane Tenor = which DAC?
Recently got the Greek integrated amp Ypsilon Phaeton and the Swedish Marten Coltrane Tenor speakers. Currently playing music from Bladelius Embla, I am looking for a better DAC. Any suggestions for this setup would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
