Your best power & preamp tubes combination?

So far, best combo -- CJ MV60 amplifier, is Tung Sol throughout. My experiments:

Electro Harmonix 12AX7 w/ Tung Sol EL34B
Tung Sol 12AX7 w/ Winged C EL34

The EH 12AX7 with Tung Sol EL34B sounded good with a somewhat closed-in sound stage.

The Tung Sol 12AX7 with the Winged C EL34 sounded like an excellent solid state amp -- big soundstage, shimmery tone, voices a bit recessed.

Tung Sol 12AX7 with Tung Sol EL34B: big big sound, very live sounding with excellent reproduction of voices. Might be a bit much for tube newbies :-)

Primaluna Dialogue One with NOS Russian Reflector 6n3ce; NOS Amperex Bugle Boy 12au7; NOS Sylvania 5751 black plates.

EL34s, Psvane along with above mentioned driver and input tubes.

keep in mind that the vintage of the tube is factor in determining its sound.

with 12au7, i find the older brimar and mullard are my favorite. so far a tungsol 12axz has worked well in my cd player, but i am not sure of its vintage.
