XLR vs. SE for Theta/Simaudio

I've replaced my preamp and amp recently with Simaudio P5 and Theta Dreadnaught-2, both of which claim fully balanced design. I'm wondering if my cables (Synergistic Research Kaleidoscope Phase-2 interconnects and Tara Labs RSC Air2 speaker cables) are not the right match now, and if I go with something else, how important is it to go balanced? Rest of system is Theta front end and Snell C/V speakers. The system sounds quite good as is, but these cables were specifically selected for other equipment after trying lots of brands, and they are RCA. Should I be going balanced now? Any specific recs for this gear? Thanks. -Dave
