Xangsane Cryo OCC vs Sterling Silver XLRs

Has anyone tried Xangsane's Cryo'd OCC interconnects?  They are three solid core 27awg and one multi strand 31awg for a combined 22awg.

The 4n sterling silver is 20awg made up of 7 .50mm multi strand cores.https://www.xangsaneaudiocable.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=229&product_id=676&sort=p.price&order=DESC

I'm currently running Neotech NEI-3001 MKIIIs but my new mono's are coming in next week so I will need a new 5 meter interconnect.  I was originally thinking about Neotech NEI-3001G since, I have noticed the sound difference in the NEI-3001 MKIII compared to the NEI-3002 MKIII.

Does anyone have any real world insight on Xangsane's sterling silver or OOC copper?

@mbolek Being as though the XS-5500s already have gold plated red copper connectors, I do not see any sound improvement in going to Viborg's red cooper rhodium plated plugs.  I have Viborg's XLR and RCA connectors with rhodium plating which are solid but I think that red cooper with any plating will produce the same sound to "my ears".

If you are going to swap connectors, I would look toward OCC connectors for the sound improvement but now we are talking double the money for that slight incremental step towards your audio nirvana.  With that money, I would put it on a fuse upgrade vs a connector upgrade since the existing connectors are of good quality.  My $.02.

Please report back with your findings because this is how we all learn and begin to experiment.

@mbolek  Any comparisons made yet on the xs-5500’s vs the Argentum cables? I’ve been reading this thread and the Veritas thread wondering if anybody has tried the two cable makers. Racking my brain trying to figure which way to go for my next set of interconnects so any help is appreciated.

@stillbuyingtoys Good point.   I bought a 1.5M 5500 with plans to cut and make two shorter cable pairs.   I want one pair for connecting my swarm sub amp (about 20") that will use the Xang stock XLRs.  Was going to re-terminate the remaining to test against my other OCCs and the Veritas.  You now have me re-thinking the new XLRs.  Agree that I probably won't hear a discernible difference no matter what I put on them.  Actually may try some copper/silver AECOs.

@t_ramey I have the Argentum hooked back up.  Just seem more articulate vs the 5500.  I think the DIY comparison to the Argentum will be the Audiocrast IC102.

I ended up buying 2m of the Xangsane sp-9003ag cabling to make some interconnects with a set of Furutech 102 NCF rca plugs I got that I was going to use with another cable but since they don’t use solder I figured I’d try them with the xangsane.

Right out the gate it sounds really good. I’ve never had an all silver ic before, plenty of hybrids though, so I was expecting things to be a little bright or thin but it’s very natural and musical so far. Literally just popped these in an hour ago so will chime back when there’s more hours on them but was impressed enough to share.

I've been using the Xangsane sp-9001ag interconnects for a while now.  I like them better than Cardas gold reference, Audioquest, MIT interconnects,

Xangsane's silver cables are very transparent and clear... no brightness... very musical cables
