Would a stereo Sim Audio Moon 861 amp be as powerful as 2 McIntosh 611 monoblock amps?

It’s hard to know because of AC current measurements in addition to wattage rating of a amp. I was wondering... would a single stereo Sim Audio Moon 871 amp (300 watts 8 ohm/ 600 watts 4 ohm) stereo amp play as loud as 2 McIntosh MC611 monoblocks (600 watts at all ohms) without losing sound quality or struggle? For speakers, it would be Focal Sopra n2s or Dynaudios of similar tier. I'm thinking about 85 decibel level.

Having a separate preamp allows you to get a great DAC such as the new Schitt Byggi coming out in Aug 2025 for $3500

Schiit loves to brag about parts and technical data. I'm not an engineer so such info tells me little about sound. Just wondering whether you have any expectation of how, sonically, the Byggi will constitute an improvement, based upon your familiarity with various past and current iterations of Yggy.

Thanks for your response. A disappointing audition of the Mojo Mystique XSE has challenged my previous conviction that a warm sounding  DAC would be the right fit for me. In the past, I’ve noted your enthusiasm for Schiit DACs so I thought I’d ask you about the Byggi. I will research sound signature of the OG.
