It amazes me nowadays that Laserline CD90 racks regularly fetch more than double their original new price at auction. So it got me wondering. Software aside, is there anything else stereo-related that is worth more today than it cost originally?
There is some vintage gear that sells for more dollars than when new, such as some McIntosh and Marantz amps. But if you take inflation into account it is probably worth less than when it was new.
