Now using Polk monitor 10 Had them for ten years. Considered the PSB goldi's Heard them in the dealer showroom extensively. Have 2 pair Image 2B in other systems in the house, and Alphas for the rear surrounds in the theater, but thought the sound of the golds a little too soft, rolled off on top, so bought a pair of B&W Matrix 802 series 3. Check out the Nautilus line of B&W. or older Matrix line. Otherwise try Proacs. Or go for planars Martin Logans,I love the M.L. Quests.

...I am wondering if anyone out there has followed an upgrade path that included the Goldi's. I very much like them in my system (take a look see). Given that I like their presentation, in general, what would anyone suggest as a step up from the Goldi's for about $3500 USED? Please limit responses to those that have experience with the Goldi's and have subsequently "kicked it up a notch".
