Windows 7 Driver volume and Tidal app from laptop via USB

Hey guys Im running into a small glitch with Windows 7 off my lap top USB into my PS Audio PWD II. When I increase or decrease the volume using the Tiadal app the Windows driver has once channel off by 1 DB and yes it makes a difference in my soundstage. I changed the driver settings in Windows 7 to give Tital exclusive control and defeated all extras but it still happens. Has this happened to anyone and if so is there a fix or work around. Its not the end of the world since I can  change it from my listening seat but still bothers me.
