I have the new ACT. bought about two weeks ago. I have B&w 803. Audition SF Cremonas with my gears. Chance to hear SF Amati at a local shop. If I have to rank all four I would rank them as follow: 803, Cremona, Amati, ACT. The Amati is gorgously built, excellent clarity, wide sound stage, but poorly lack of bass for my taste. Cremona has better bass, good clarity and soundstage but didn't impress me too much. 803 is a step below of the cremona in all aspects. The ACT has the clarity of the amati with powerful and clear bass like the wilson watt puppy 7 ( so People have told me.) I am very happy with them. You should read about making of the new ACT and listen to them before deciding on anything. They also sounded great in surround movies system due to the clarity and bass capability. My electronics are Mark Levison 434 monoamps, Musical Fidelity 308 pre-amp, Music Fidel Trivista Sacd/Cd player. Nordost SPM inter-connect, and Cardas Golden Cross bi-wire speaker cables. I really like the Cardas with the ACT.because it is very musical and I can listen for hours. I have to admit, I haven't really listen to most of the high end speakers so my experience is limited but I do read alot on all of the publication magazine on the stand of Barnes and Noble. Any one with any input regading Wilson Benesch ACT or in general please post your opinion as Wilson Benesch is not widely known or popularize like other brands.
