Wilson Audio Watch Dog

Hello, I need some advice here. Just bought a used Wilson Audio Watch Dog passive subwoofer. I do have a B&W SA1000 subwoofer amplifier. But when I hook up the sub with this amp, it did not sound as good as I expected. There is nothing wrong with the amp or the subwoofer. I did not use Wilson Audio ActivXO crossover since the B&W SA1000 can filter out the high frequency. what can I do to bring the potential of this subwoofer? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Steakster, I just bought the subwoofer. I don't have the Wilson Audio Watch Controller yet. I think this might be the issue. I probably need one. Thanks.

Passive subs will need a sufficient amp and eq, your sa1000 may be B&w only driver rolloff wise, i would suggest a minidsp and  pro amp .. a nad 208thx is what was used for the snell sub1800thx review
