The DAW is more coherent and less boomy than the Alexia 2 - not as big sounding though. You can see the design changes in the Stereophile reviews of both + measurements.

Are there any listeners out there that have heard both of these speakers and can offer any their experience or insights? Amps are Mclntosh 1.25kwh and transparent speaker cables with a McIntosh preamp
