Will China become the poor man’s dealer for high end audio?

For about a year now, I have hung back and just read the various threads, etc.  There is a ton of really impressive "on topic" knowledge here.  I have learned a lot.  Seriously.  Then today I get to read this drivel:

"Democrats and people from Detroit and Fauci create much more damage for the US than any Chinese or Russian."

The post containing this should have been deleted, not because it is pathetically ignorant (which it is) or to deny anyone's first amendment rights, but because it simply does not belong here, IMHO.  It really demeans the forum. No, I am not "triggered" or "offended" but simply calling out the crap.

You are funny.......I was not offended at all.  As to avoiding arguments or thinking, my "opinion" is that this is not a forum to argue about Fauci, Democrats, Republicans, etc.  Maybe as only a "one time poster" I incorrectly assumed this was a forum regarding audio and that which is related to same.   Who knows, maybe "Fauci" is a band new tube amp I am not yet familiar with.....if so, my bad....

OK, hopefully last on the topic.  I assure you, I was not offended.  Maybe it is just me, but I can react to things, in varying degrees, personally or professionally, without offense taken.  I can also offer recommendations, suggest actions etc, personally or professionally w/out offense.  We may differ in opinions on censorship.  I simply am not interested in engaging in debate regarding medical/political issues here (emphasis added).  Elsewhere, sure, assuming I'm in the mood.   

I too prefer friendship, camaraderie, etc.  I was rooting for you in past posts, calling out what I felt was bigotry.  Thanks for your apology, however it was not needed.  Maybe I will join further discussions.  

My current audio issue is whether to buy Thiel 1.6's or 2.2's to upgrade my system.  Thoughts?
