Religion can make human able to give a particular image of themselves about themselves.... This is one of the necessary workings of a collective culture.... But integrity and accountability, basic moral elementay consciousness, for example are more like mathematical activity: we reap what we sow.... It is impossible for a gardener to fool himself and others and speaking about the garden and not properly working the garden... A religious man can.... A mathematican cannot.... "Moral imagination" is more akin to mathematical experience or gardening experience than to religious experience... One of the reason is basic moral activity and moral imagination does not need any kind of collective recognition at all, because his own working is rewarding in itself, like mathematic and gardening.... |

I love the guy, he is sensible and the prey of no ideologue....He is also a real concrete clinician and that shows in his thinking....

By the way these words are for me the objective foundational experience of moral imagination , and moral imagination is the only faculty or organ needed by humanity to go trough next millenium.... The moral imagination part is past the " i dont cheat you because i dont want to be cheat by you " to the " How can i love you more and in a better way? " The future is less determined by technology than by moral imagination... I read a novel of S-F 45 years ago and in it the writer was describing many advanced civilizations, all more advanced and powerful than the others, except the last and the more advanced, no visible technology, and pure moral imagination.... I’m also hoping that Mahgister doesn’t chip in to point out that we’re all nothing more than a collection of disparate atoms held vicariously in a magnetic space field. If you read my post you will know that i am more a poet than a scientist, even if i had read more science books than some... I NEVER post words implying some reductionist attitude, like you suggest i has did or will do... Then dont attack me by false affirmation about me.... By the way anything i say about audio is always the results of my homemade low cost many experiments... I will add something about my seller and buyer experience.... The last 6 months has been terrible, not because dishonesty on either part, myself or others, but because the worlwide disruptions by postal offices around the world...
The delays were so great that i has been in the obligation to reimbourse some asking impatient customers.... Tenth times mores problems and more than that probably than in normal times... I can live with that tough... But it was pain in the ass like buyer or seller and i was at the 2 end of the sticks...But i am patient and i wait knowing how it is...

My grain of salt for the benefit of all and my own experience like seller and buyer... I sold 13,000 books and cd these last years, i have ordered near 2 thousand one... For the selling part the problematic orders was near between 0 .3% or 0.4 % For my ordering part the % is perhaps a little over near 0.8%... Then double problems ... :) But anyway a very low number of cases ... I was active on the 3 main sellers in the world... Then i was lucky, but sometimes we make also our luck: The service, and communication i gave was first class... And more....Only the wrapping of package we take the care to make, made amazon package look like trash... For myself i has ordered near 2 thousand books and cd in the last 3 years...With almost the same success... Is trust a fact of human existence nowadays? Yes... Why? Without trust no human lives are worth to be lived... Those who think the contrary are immature, unhealthy or stupid, or armed survivalists, pick the one diagnostic that fit the case... Trust and cooperation are one, if not the only one event that makes human life a great journey.... By the way in this world i dont want to be the last man standing.... :) Best regards.... Remark : My audio purchase or order are very small, perhaps 40 orders all in all in the last 7 years, mainly purchase with few sellings... No problem at all in any way..... |
