Who still listens to their First Generation Cd Players?

I still like the sound of those early cd players except early problematic sonys

Keep the gremlins at bay with a VPI brick sitting over the transport. (no kidding) Also let it "read" the disc for a few seconds before hitting the play button. Don't know what I'd do without it.
