Which Amp for Magnepan MG 3.6/R?

Many have asked which amp works best with the Magnepan MG 3.6/R, but I haven't seen a good response yet. Can anyone assist me?

My current short list includes the Classe CAM 350, Nelson Pass X250, Belles 350A, and Theta Dreadnaught II. Which one would you choose?

My system includes: Musical Fidelity NuVista 3D CD player, Klyne 7LX3.5 solid state preamp, a pair of Cambridge SoundWorks Newton P-1000 subwoofers, and Analysis Plus Crystal Oval 8 cabling. I listen to classical music and jazz.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I've listened to several amps with the 3.6s and only recommend a BEL 1001 mk V. It's one of the only amps to get truly good bass out of them. Plus, they deliver the goods when it comes to the rest of the music as well. 100wpc into 4ohms doesn't tell the whole story. You simply won't run out of juice with this amp. See Jimburger's system profile for our recent listening session with one on his 3.6s.
At the end of the day, I'd put this amp up against anything at any price and feel confident. Try one and see for your self.
Good luck!
