Over, check my system. I built an equipmement rack suing TumberNation's 2"-laminated-maple shelves and am very happy with it, so much, that I recently ordered and received a 5th shelf that I've stained but not yet drilled and installed. These 2"-think shelves are available in edge-grain (shown) or flat-grained, where the approximately-1"-by-2"-oak slabs are laid flat before being glued.
