@daveyf   I don’t even have a horse in this race, but the clown-post preceding yours, the utter dripping of ego and self-importance….making reference to TOS for Christ-sake, you’ll never ’win’ with a goober like him.   Just let it go.    Karma tends to “resolve” problems like this when you least expect it.

@daveyf mystery as to why you got banned. Does WBF have a hubris clause in its t&c’s?

@teknorob23   You might know. I have no real idea as to why I was banned, except maybe my posts/threads didn’t meet the agenda of one of the owners?? BUT i am now more than pleased that i was banned, the WBF forum has become quite weak and I do not want to be associated with them under any circumstances! 

Many of the contributors on WBF are ignorant on the elements at play that contribute to sound reproduction, which makes the content of the discussions there hold very little value or substance.

The discussions there are steered, cleansed, and sterilized by Steve and Tom, the deputy dog moderator, to foster a fertile ground for the dealers and manufacturers that buy advertisement banners on the site.

Then you have the village idiots trying to find their way out of a paper bag. Won’t mention names as it is rather obvious if you just have a quick read. It is clearly a text book example of the blind leading the blind.

But what astonishes me the most are all the “high power” members with their proud list of “Uber” “Tipy Top” systems, assembled with the world’s “Top”, “”Most Expensive & Exquisite”, and “Heralded & Distinguished” components that sound underwhelming, mediocre, and in many cases just plain poor.

Not to single out any one individual on there, as there are many “fine” examples, you got the guys that have spent the millions of dollars on equipment and installed them in their beautifully custom built rooms, with activated carbon in some cases, these misinformed or misguided individuals now have rooms that quite literally snuff the life out of the music played in them. Then there the ones that cannot comprehend that listening to “live un-amplified acoustic music” from an audience perspective is very different to the playback sound reproduction of “close-microphone” “multi-track” produced music. I could go on and on, but I won’t.

Our audio hobby and the high-end audio industry has never seen more of a swindle than now and audio web sites that promote or allow the dissemination of unfounded facts, misunderstood & misguided understandings, and in some cases snake-oil propagandas are complicit in it.
