Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Godspeed You! Black Emperor / Lift your skinny fists like antennas to Heaven
Not unless it's one of your many new ones :-)

Bonnie Prince Billy / I see darkness
Validpoint, Thanks for the lead. I will check her out. Reading her bio, she was involved with  Einstürzende Neubauten which is another GREAT band. Should be interesting...

moe. / Wormwood
The Double U / Absurd Fjord
This one has been getting a fair amount of rotation from me lately. It reminds me a bit of early Captain Beefheart.
Vietnam / Self Titled
Rock. I have a couple albums from this band & like them both. They know how to craft a good song around interesting lyrics
Tim Fite / Gone ain’t gone
Kind of country, kind if hip hop, but leaning rock wise
If colorful language offends you, don’t listen :-)
I agree Uber

Rachel’s / The sea & the bells
This is a rock band that has heavy percussion (at times) with a lot of piano & strings. Nice stuff. Similar to the band "Silver Mt. Zion", but not as hard.
glupson, I had to look that one up. Interesting, to say the least.

Phish / The siket disc
glupson, thanks for bringing that one up. What is interesting to me is Waters jumping into that arena. Music in the hands of talented artists can go in many directions. Case in point... What Zappa did when he put his talent into classical music was wonderful (IMO).
