Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Cracker  "The Golden Age".

An (really) early Classic release. In fact, the only vinyl of Cracker I know of!
Another record show purchase...

Tommy Bolin "Private Eyes".  This lp has quite a bit of sub 35H bass info and comes across very clean and musical. I could only imagine an audiophile label getting a hold of the masters if they're available. It would move the foundation!

Anyone have other TB recommendations?
Fleetwood Mac  "Future Games"
Aerosmith  ""Rocks"" & "Toys in the Attic"
Ozark Mountain Daredevils  "Men From Earth"
Guided By Voices  "Do The Collapse"
The Perfect Circle  "Mer de Noms"

all lps
Elton John  "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"/DJM pressing. Perfection?...pretty damn close!
jafant,

I too was like ozzy in that I quit buying NY’ lps for a while. I recently started again with "Psychedelic Pill" then "Americana"/lps. Both are very good!

Psychedelic Pill on vinyl is pretty special!

@woobie,

My copy of "Dirt" isn't anything to write home about. I just turn it up and forget about my audiophile sensibilities. My best sounding Alice N' Chains is the domestic "Jar of Flies/ SAP"
Bob Segar & the SBB  "Nine Tonight" (lp)
Harry James  "Comin' From a Good Place" D2D (lp)
Tom Petty  "Wildflower" (lp)
Rosanne Cash  "The River & The Thread"
David Gilmour  "Live in Gdansk"
Chris Hillman  "Bidin' My Time"
Jim James  "Regions of Light and Sound of God"
@reubent,

The more I thought about it, I remembered buying that cd years ago when my main vehicle had a cd player in it. I’d buy cds I was interested in from the record clubs. If I liked them, I’d buy the lp, then the other ones I’d sell to the used book store and at least, break even. I found it today.

Blur  "The Magic Whip" (lp)
Land Of Talk " Some Are Lakes" (lp)

more importantly "Give Me Back My Heart Attack"

John Snodgrass "Visitor's Band"
Courtney Barnett/Kurt Vile "Lotta Sea Lice"
Ben Howard "Every Kingdom"
Grace Potter "The Lion, The Beast, The Beat"
Fleetwood Mac "Live"
Smog "A River Ain’t Too Much to Love"
Haley Bonar  "Impossible Dream"

(lps)
right now...

putting on Smashing Pumpkins  "Siamese Dream"!!!

comm'on just doesn't get better than  "mayonaise"

Gettin' my Howe Gelb fix:

Giant Sand  "Blackout", "Tuscon"

Howe Gelb "A Band of Gypsies"

(lps)
