Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Hey Krissy.
Hope you are well.
Great thread you are in now, lot of great stuff always played in here.
Morrissey is someone I have not listened to in a very long time, very cool.
And another fantastic eclectic mix there Stereo5!

Love the way you mix up genres and meld them all together, it is what makes this hobby so much fun and so addictive, just so much great music out there.
Good Lord Nutty, I thought you had departed planet Earth or something!
Good to see you !

Rock, Stock and Barrel ... Angelica.

Visited my LRS yesterday and what did I see but FOUR Rockpile albums, never seen one in my life!
So yes had to buy one, Seconds of Pleasure, sealed NOS.
Almost a shame to have to open it to play it!
Billy Joel Greatest Hits Vol 2 on cassette.
Billy Joel Greatest Hits Vol 3 on CD
Bdp24.
It is a USA Columbia release but no 7" ep.
Not had chance to listen to it yet.
I knew Edmonds was one of your favorite players and live performers.
Was just shocked to see FOUR copies in same shop when I have never seen any anywhere previously.
The other three copies are all gently used from what I could see.
Gday Boxer!
TGIF!
D.M.Z ..... The Resurrection Band.

Cassette.

Just two tapes left out of the huge pile I started with.
Make a start on the pile of albums next that have been amassing while working through the tapes ..😂😂😂

I played this not very long ago and then I saw the reel version in our lrs couple days ago on 7.5ips at a very fair price so had to buy it of course.

One of the greatest rock,n,roll shows I ever saw in England was MSG.
Schenker was a god.
Pity about Bardens voice though.... Lol.
I enjoy listening to good old FM radio at times. The tuner in my vintage Sanyo receiver works really well and pulls in a lot of stations and locks on them like a pit bull!
Love the old school large knob to twirl and read an actual scale for the tuning.
I picked this beast up for a song and it is classic Japanese 70,s electronics.
It's a keeper.
Boxer, how goes it!
Quick visit.
Been on vacation, got back about 4.30pm then up at 3am tomorrow to travel to North Carolina for work until late Saturday.
Hard to find time for Christmas .. lol.
Acting Very Strange ... Mike Rutherford.

Vinyl.

Testing out the Garrard 401 with 4 springs underneath instead of it's pioneer ISO feet.
Hard to tell if really any improvement but early days.....
Child is Father to the Man .... Blood,Sweat and Tears.

I love spinning records but sometimes a very well recorded tape just takes my breath away.
And this is definitely one of those tapes!
I had never even heard of the album Mojo, never mind heard it until today.

IMHO it's different enough from a lot of Petty's other work and I quite like it.
Not bad for $1.......
Close Up .... David Sanborn.

Cassette.

Been busy culling my tape haul, out of the 181 I bought, 89 have been culled for resale on Fleabay...so far.. lol.
