Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Some very fine tapes in your collection bkeske.
Still got about 90 new to me ones to work through ,lot of good jazz fusion in the pile.

Breaking in a new tonearm cable right now , need more hours in a day to enjoy all this music 🎸🎻
Actually Geoff I had the perfect encounter yesterday that says it all.
Was visiting my local favourite charity shop to do some bin diving and there was a sign on the door, no mask no admittance, which was new but well overdue!
Now I had a mask on anyway, doing my part but as I was about to enter a mid 50,s coupe were being escorted out by the employees and they were maskless.
The guy was quiet but the woman was ranting out loud about it being a violation of her consitutional rights and she was going to call the police etc.
That is the type of selfish, thoughtless idiot that is driving up Florida tally every day.
10-4!
If you can change the belts or have a local dealer do it for a fair price you could well be right.
Not much point making a sideways step.
Boxer.
Down to double figures on tapes now!

Aliens Ate My Buick .... Thomas Dolby.

Amazon Music
Was having a blast reading all the one hit wonders thread.
Which got me going back in time to British top of the pops, sad yes I know.
And a huge mid 70,s star was actually American.

So here we go with .....
The Very Best of Suzi Quatro.

Pretty sure I was in lust with her at 14......
David
Hope you are well.
Glad somebody turned the subject back to music...
Tend to get carried away at times!

Home Free .... Dan Fogelberg.
Carp
Myself and my daughter went into our UPS store to fax a college document for her.
Not one person including ALL 4 store employees were wearing a mask.
Just stupid.
Even if a mask is not the complete answer it surely is not hurting anything besides ego to wear one just in case.
They did actually release it on Seven Arts label on cassette in 1970.
That’s quite a survivor of it is a 1970.

Rest of reissues have no date
Indulging in a bit of TV/ music.

Watching the movie.

Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Frampton, Alice Cooper, Bee Fees etc.

I'm always around somewhere lurking in the shadows......
Been playing records tonight so been posting in that other thread.....
Great question Ozzy.
I used to play Billy Squire a lot but sort of stopped a decade or so ago.
I think it all just ended up sounding the same.
Boxer
Followed that one up with her Short, Sharp, Shocked album.

Ozzy
You do know I am going to have to drag out some Billy Squire now!

Lol.
Another of my fave bands from back in the day.

Muscle of Love ... Alice Cooper.

Think I wore out 2 copies of Billion Dollar Babies!
shefwed.

I was just the opposite
Loved black sabbath and deep purple back in the day, could not stand led zep or pink Floyd.
I would say that reversed itself maybe 20 years ago though.... lol.

Now shefwed is an interesting name that conjures up images of a Sheffield Wednesday football team supporter ( if there are any of them left that is! lol).
I certainly wish I had not bought into the " perfect sound forever" bullcrap over the little silver disc.😠😠
