Gina And Johnny | Free Your Soul CD Johnny Fink and I grew up together and he has been a musician since he was a 16. He was a solo act for most of his career playing the blues at local clubs. A couple years ago I went to see Ian Moore and he was the opening act. Last night we attended his show at the Cincinnati Zoo and he gave me his new CD. He's got a full band now and they recorded their CD at Silver Orb studio in Cincinnati. Decent production and some pretty good songs. They also recently opened for Kenny Wayne Shepherd. They have some videos on YouTube and the title track "Free Your Soul" is available on Amazon. Check out "Pay Up" when you have time. https://youtu.be/S_cdejPWAbY?si=rTENZo1SG_dPoAhm N

@reubent - The Joanne Shaw Taylor show was 2 hours of amazing! And yes, Memorial Hall is a very nice venue with beautiful architecture and great acoustics. I must say that her band was probably the best that I've seen to date, especially the female drummer. Currently listening to JST The Blues Albumn produced by Joe Bonamassa. "Let Me Down Easy" was amazing live. Really showcasing her vocal abilities. N |
