Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Supernatural ... Santana.

Still a great guitarist imho despite some members dissing him on my Rush thread.

CD
Actually might have just been one member BUT one that I was shocked to see them saying so .
Probably a bad hair day for them.
Found the post, not that it really matters but pretty opinionated.

"Santana - most overrated "guitar God" of all time."

I remember being blown away by Santana live in 1978 at an outdoor concert back in England. The king of sustain in my book.
Agreed Boxer!

Admit that not every SONG is to my liking especially some of the ones on this particular CD.

However Moonflower is up there with my fave all time albums. Timeless.
Right now
Blast from the past.

Masters of Reality .... Black Sabbath.

The original "on a wacky trip" band.

Give Technical Ecstasy a listen to see what they were on at the time!
Crash ... Dave Matthews Band.

The C.E.C is still belting out the tunes Boxer......

Tweaking it now, sitting on ceramic cones.

Will try brass cones tomorrow.
No Dice ... Badfinger.

Original Apple Records label.

Just saw a r2r of this sell for $125. Gadzooks!
Another productive thrift shop day.

Third Annual Pipe Dream ... Atlanta Rhythm Section.

Cover looked like hell but vinyl looked pristine, few crackles but pretty happy.
Next bargain up.

Cyan ... Three Dog Night.

Looks and sounds like it had never been played ... Sweet!

Not tried em yet!

Tbh the SQ was so much improved with the ceramic cones sitting on Les Davis 3D2 pads I have been loathe to fiddle and just sitting back and enjoying the music.

That being said that Who tape was so bad I had to replace it.
Now playing.

So Far ... CSNY

Much better!
Tales of Mystery and Imagination ... Alan Parsons Project.

Cassette

First time ever heard this one, most excellent both musically and sonically.
Peterjc.

Yes it was a shame when 3 key (ish) members left Savoy Brown to form their own group... Foghat.

Some would say Savoy Brown were never quite the same again after that.
Boxer.

More bluesy and earthy than Foghat.

Two albums to spin are Lookin' In and Raw Sienna.

arguably their finest albums.
The Golden Age Of Wireless ... Thomas Dolby.

Cassette.

Truly sublime music and SQ.

No posts tonight as its live music night.

Bryan Adams, Shine a Light tour.

It's a gorgeous evening here in North East Florida!
Likely their best album Geoff, nice pick!

Tango in the Night ... Fleetwood Mac.
