Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

fasten!

I agree completely with you about Joanne Shaw Taylor. Ive known about her for several years. Recently I caught her show at the Ohio valley Gaming Casino. A small outdoor venue, with about 1000 people and we were 20 feet from the stage. She blew everyone away.

After the show she met with fans - including me - and took pics and gave autographs. She was in no hurry to leave and stated that she would not leave until everyone managed to meet her. She is Very attractive and her British accent is awsome!. Speaking with her she appeared to be a very down to earth grounded woman. The b
est show I've attended in a long time!

New in the mail today. Tommy Bolin, Teaser Deluxe CD.
Co. Produced by John Bolin. The songs are re-do’s not simply a remaster. While the disc is good it doesn’t quite have the ambiance or raw nature of Tommy’s original release.

Also new today a Remaster of Toto’s Hydra. A 2014 Culter Factory, (Sony) release. This disc comes as a limited edition 3000 copies and it’s a mini LP. black with a blue inner lable. The recording is superior to the original that I have.

Pop Evil, Footsteps, MP3

Candlebox, Disappearing in Airports, CD- track "God's Gift" kicks !!

The Winery Dogs, Hot streak

"Tarkus" is a suite in seven parts—one of the earliest multipart progressive-rock suites. The recorded version lasts nearly 21 minutes and takes up a full side of the album.

I just cruised through Dirty Shirley, S/T thanks to Arcam88!
Featuring George Lynch on guitar and vocals courtesy of Dino Jelusick of The Transiberian Orchestra.

N
arcam88, I'm in complete agreement with you on Spocks Beard!

I've also followed  George Lynch's career beginning with Dokken then onto Lynch Mob. He has enjoyed quite a successful career. Now with Dino J. On vocals it has taken his accomplishments to another level.

Ghosthouse,
"Shiver and Sigh" is one of my favorite JST songs for several reasons. One, it's about an ex love of hers which in keeping with her true Blues roots. Two, I believe that her vocals are at her best on The Dirty Truth. Three, there is a nice groove and ease to the song and she wraps it up with a nice solo at the end.

Regarding Ambrosia, I'm in agreement on "How Much I Feel". All the others are an easy listen. "Apothecary" is easy on the ears and has great lyrics.

uberwaltz,
Candlebox and Live are in heavy rotation around here. Candlebox Disappearing in Airports has been on top of the stack lately. As for The Gracious Few, here is a other link for you to check out. It's titled "Appetite".

The Stooges, Live At Goose Lake - August 8th, 1970
- Also "I wanna be your Dog" - I believe it only has 3 cords... maybe 4? Memorable though. There is only one Iggy!

Yes, Close To The Edge -
For those interested, - Steven Wilson used the original multi-track recordings to produce a "2013 stereo mix", a 5.1 surround sound mix, and an "original stereo mix" from a flat transfer of the LP, in both a CD and DVD-Audio and CD and Blu-ray Disc package. Bonus tracks include single edits, an early rough mix of "Close to the Edge", and instrumental versions of the album’s three tracks.[nb 6]
