Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

uber, This one you can...

The Head & The Heart / The head & the heart
This was their first studio album. Great indie music (IMO)
uber,  Codeine Velvet Club is a band I've never heard. What would you compare them too?
Magik Markers / Boss
Very good album IMO. This band reminds me of a band from the 80's called "Opal". Opal eventually morphed into "Mazzy Star" & changed their style a bit during the morphing.
MG, You are very welcome

Irving / Good morning beautiful
The Telepathic Butterflies
oicu812, Welcome, you're in good company... There are more than a few Allman Brother Band enthusiasts here

Devendra Banhart / Rejoicing in the hands
Joe Pug / Windfall
(I needed something easier to listen to after "Our Brother The Native") That album is good but requires to much attentive listening for a late Saturday night. Made me tired (LOL)
Karen Dalton / In my own time
This is an absolute classic (folk/blues). Worth looking up.
Karen Elson / Double Roses
I picked this one up yesterday. This is her latest & very good, IMO every bit as good as her earlier album "The Ghost Who Walks".
Reverberation / Blue stereo music
If you like slow spacey drug induced music (I do), you'll love this. It reminds me a lot of "Spiritualized" & at times "Bardo Pond" or "Acid Mothers Temple", when they slow down.
Good to hear from you uber! This one is also from secondspin...

Richard Youngs / Autumn Response
