Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Boxer.
More just alternative indie.
Not much folk influence IMHO.

Trying to think who they are similar too but nothing coming to mind right now☹️☹️

Think two for sale used on discogs.

Let's Rock .... The Black Keys.

Last time I played this I was not particularly impressed.
It has definitely grown on me!
Hey Nutty.
Just received my copy of Snow Live on vinyl, 3 LP in white.

It's spectacular!!

Good to hear on Windy City as I can tell you the vinyl version is pretty poor. I was very dissapointed in the SQ of it.
Young and the Hopeless .... Good Charlotte.

CD.

Great music, god awful recording, compressed to high heaven and back!
Fireball Zone .... Ric Ocasek.

Cassette.

Stunning SQ, a great advertisement for cassette being a viable media.

Unfortunately that particular recording of dsotm is pretty rough, I bought it as a supposed mint recording. Not even close, my recording like Chime on now are vastly superior.
So when I get time I must record dsotm again.
I guess we are spoiled nowadays.
I remember when FM was the only choice of music unless you wanted to spin a record...lol

Sure I am not the only one.
And don’t get me started on am valve radios, got a small collection of 4 different antique ones all in fully working condition.
Still amusing to turn then on and have to wait 30 seconds or so until tubes have warmed up for music to start.
Great minds David......

Tour De Force.. Live …. Al Di Meola.

Vinyl.
Glorious SQ.

If you have not already checked these guys out you should.

The Pineapple Thief.

Not quite as good as Spock’s Beard but very much in same vein and excellent musicianship.
David.
I really like Tour de force.
It leans more towards jazz rock than the jazz fusion side IMHO.
Maybe that's why I like it though ... Lol.
@reubent

It's right up there for me too.
Maybe Blood and Chocolate slightly more ahead for me but close call.

And this is a nicely recorded cassette, even though this format has many detractors!
