Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Nutty,

Having read through this thread again, I noticed you mentioned "Union Jacks" twice. Have you ever listened to any other Babys lps?

I've always been partial to "S/T' and "Broken Heart". Have you heard these?

Having said this, gets me thinking about listening to JW's "No Brakes".

Nutty,

I've been a fan of the Zebra lp for decades.

I just cleaned and put on The Baby's "S/T" lp. First time in over 20 years. I always preferred their early lps. Union Jack was too, IMO, top 40.

Decemberists  "What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World" (lp).

Give it a chance. Sides 2 -4 are almost reference quality! Not to mention that Colin Meloy is one of THE most inventive, interesting artists out there, IMO.
Side 4 is blank, sorry.

At least you found out before I did.

Happy Listening!

Just put on Deep Purple / MS MUSIC "Live at the BBC" (lp)..SHoffman.
The Lennon Box. This is a "Back To Black" pressing. So far, no problems.

jafant, By the way.. which one is pink?
FWIW: just compared "I Don't Want To Be A Soldier" from the Lennon Box/ vs. MFSL/#905.

The MFSL has a little more depth and air. That is THE main difference.
so far...

America "Homecoming"
Chicago "S/T"
Roger Waters "Amused To Death"
Rolling Stones "S/T" mono
Big Brother.. "S/T" mono
ghosthouse, jafant,

Ever since "Steady On" was released, I've used it as one of my go-to lps for system evaluation. I bought an extra copy just because I've played it so much. Also have the 45rpm 12" EP.

Big SL fan.

Going to break out "Thanksgiving" by Mary Gauthier tomorrow.
Don't let the lp above go unnoticed. I did when I first bought it. I was intrigued by the Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins "Rabbit Fur Coat" lp. (Still one of my favorites).

I set this one aside. Now, I am glued to it! There is a Beth Orton vibe going on if you take the time to listen. Sonics are great.

Happy Listening!
Wishbone Ash "No Smoke Without Fire"

(Baby the Angels are Here) Check it out!!!!
chronoglidesky,

Normally, I'd say since you went out of your way to explain your heterosexuality, you'd be, at the least, questioning?.

I, however, am taking you at your word.

Let's listen to The Eagles "King Of Hollywood"

peace!
