Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Time for some vinyl.
Picked this up a while ago, not had chance to spin it until now .

10cc live and let LIVE

Unfortunately (imho) this was recorded in 77, just after Godley & Creme had left.
Still great, just with that pair missing its not quite excellent.
Again my opinion only.
Ok so maybe I have to eat my words.

A truly spectacular rendition of Feel The Benefit ( 13 minutes) more than makes this album a hit.
Well I was streaming on Tidal until it took a dump for the night ( cannot connect, check your internet! As if).

So ripped CD from my vault.

Moonflower .. Santana.

Love this album
Thx Arcam,it does!
Can't say as have heard of The Rockets but I was in England from 1960 to 2000 so that's my excuse!

Will look them up though now.
Only album on Tidal is Rocket Roll, which I think was their last album of 5?

That will be up next
YES it most definitely is!

Have it just on analog format
Vinyl and cassette, both sublime!
Once in a Lifetime..... Talking Heads

Tidal
arcam88, what about Tidal are you curious about?IMHO one of the best sources for listening to new to you music available.
Ten … Pearl Jam

CD on daughters system while working on my computer upstairs
Stereo5.

Reminds me I need to buy some Heep on vinyl asap!

I did have sticker shock when I checked a couple of their more obscure releases in vinyl. $490 and $300 each for Outsider and Origami. Might have to pass on them!
A trip to the LRS today

First up

Talk ... Yes

Cassette, pretty poor example of mastering on this one though, oh well.
One of the greatest guitar heroes to walk the earth..... Imho of course.

Obsession ... UFO.

The one and only Schenker!

Last album appearance for UFO until back later in 93 I think.

Vinyl.
Stereo5
That's too funny, the good ol days! Lol.

Down to Earth ... Rainbow.

Bonnet nowhere near the caliber of singer Dio was but he gave Blackmore what he so desperately craved at the time ... Chart single success.

Vinyl
Arcam88

Not unless you buy it.

If you make it available for offline it saves it on your device but unless you have a valid subscription it will not play it. So no you cannot download to a USB device
Keep the Nite Lite Burning ... Magnum.

Very rare studio semi acoustic album, only released on CD in the UK.( I believe).

Haha Jafant.

Thought I was going to have to look for a new Rush album!

Seems its a Rush night.

Next up

Roll The Bones ... Rush

CD
Finaly got around to buying this on vinyl.

I Robot ... The Alan Parsons Project.

Nos and sealed, perfect!
A bit of 80,s Brit  pop/rock!

True .. Spandau Ballet.

$1 vinyl. This is actually a pretty spectacular recording despite the genre.
Raging Silence .... Uriah Heep

Tidal

Working my way through some of the lesser  known , more obscure Heep offerings. The word is that 80,s and 90,s albums were a low point but I can’t say as I have really heard a complete clunker yet!
Gipsy Lady ... Schenker/Barden Acoustic Project.

Still one of my top all time rock guitarists ever.
Long live Schenker!
