+1 Spiritofradio

tgilb,
Islands is one of favorites as well. Great album

The Fiery Furnaces / Gallowsbird's
Spiritofradio,
For sure. They seem to change their style a bit from album to album. It's always pretty interesting though. A very creative band, for sure. If you have time, at some point in the future check out "How I quit smoking". It's slower but still very good. One of my favorites from them.
"In addition, I also blame you all for being ‘bad influences’ 😁"

Speaking for myself... You're welcome! (Personally I think Steve & Jim are the biggest culprits though :-))

Magik Markers / Sada Jane

They'll have to dig yours much deeper than 6' Jim  😂

MV & EE / Medicine show
Sorry Jim, I've got nothing... But admiration for this response:
"6’ works if Angelina Jolie digs me and the 7’s up….."

Calexico / Travelall
Jim,
I really don't have one I don't like. To pick 3 favorites...
"Black Light" Probably because they slow it down & it's kind of mellow. Buyer beware though... the content is a bit dark
"Spoke" Pretty balanced. Sound quality although acceptable, isn't as good as "Black light"
"Travelall" It's completely instrumental (no vocals)

Brendan J Canning / Chill

Haven't tried streaming yet but it seems like a good idea. My excuse is I'm an old guy.

Ada Lea / One hand...
Jim, Steve, I think you would like this one
Steve,
I kind of figured you heard Ada Lea before (saddle creek & all), but thought I'd give it a mention anyway in case you hadn't. I'll check that one out as well.
+ a couple thousand for "Hunky Dory". Brilliant album!

Puffball,
Which Golden Palominos album is your favorite?
Puffball,
I'll have to get "A Dead Horse". Thanks for answering! In regard to "Acid Mothers Temple"... I really don't know how I happened to stumble upon them. It was years ago though. They may have come up as a recommended band when searching "Bardo Pond" or something. They did put out an album together a few years ago which is pretty good.

MV & EE / The Uranian Ray

Bummer Puffball! Hope you get it fixed soon.

Thanks for the recommendations BTW. Much appreciated

Grateful Dead / Reckoning

Steve, Sbank,

I agree... What a talent & what a voice! I'll have to pull out RFC & listen to it again soon.
